Most off you are aware that CFP 3 has an "optional" Toolbar offered during installation which protects BO Attacks in the browser.

Kevin McAleavey (Founder of BOClean & now working for COMODO) Gave us the Analysis off the toolbar by BOClean).

BTW do you expect a Comodo employee to write against them? The moment he will write against them, he will be no more a Comodo employee.

The explanations given by Kevin might be 100% true but not independent in any case.

I miss KMCA postings..aahhh remember that unique "taste".
Not that I particularly care but:
Have e-mailed Melih and had good responses on many topics: repectful and direct. Remarkable really.
He ( kevin) aint offering opinion or editorial: just analysis.
If he says what is quoted: then thats good enough for me.
( disclaimer: paid up for BOClean in the past, never regretted it: have to have faith in kevin: lol; ergo makes my comments suspect too ;) )

The free long time popular photo app IrfanView offers Google Toolbar as well as other free apps. I think it's nothing to be concerned with so long as an option to forego installing it is included which is most always the case, only exception of course is if of some aggressive agenda, but i don't find any in any legit and well publicized security apps as well as commercial others.

In spite of my past regards toward BoClean it still is nice to find such an app that can fill in the gaps so-to-speak especially those that enter the memory.

So, you have to install this toolbar to get a security feature and then you can uninstall the toolbar later if your savvy enough. Doesn't AVG have a similar "optional security feature"? How many average Joe's are even going to pay attention to the optional toolbar install page when installing?. I guess that is what Comodo and the like as well as the toolbar companies are banking on. Quite frankly, I don't like this trend because a security application should be just that. No less, no more!

Forgive and forget....not hardly. Mr. BD and associates are like the rest of us, wakes up in the morning and attempts to make all they can in a days work. Some do it honestly, questionably or dis-honestly. IAC will fit wherever the public concerned with privacy will let them fit.
