If I can make the Quarantine Image display you'll see (2) C: files and (4) D: files called a Variant of Win32 /AdInstaller app. D: is a System Recovery partition HP put on the hard drive and this is a New HP computer running the 2.7 Beta. I'm at a loss how to handle. Only appears in Quarantine and Not in Threat Log. MANY THanKS!

    Hi COSMO26,

The log should be found in the NOD32 Scanner Logs if the entries in quarantine are the result of an on demand scan. It is your preference what to do with them since they appear to be only an advertising application from HP.

    Cheers :)

Thanks. I didn't want to make you look at 80 lines of exceptions in the Scan log screen to see the 6. If I Restore, won't they keep being Quarantined each Scan? Have no idea if Delete from Quarantine would create any issues. Are Restore and Delete my Only options? Can you make a recommendation?

You can keep them from being picked up each scan if you were to scan without checking for potentially unwanted applications.

Of course since it's a new computer you could probably contact HP support and ask if removing them would create any kind of functionality issue... :D

    Cheers :)

I appreciate that. I'll try HP and see what happens.
