I installed true image 2009 home on windows 7 ultimate x64(RTM) and now the computer doesn't shut down.
It never powers the pc off.I've seen other people complaining about this on other forums....does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and what i should try to do to fix this?

I think, but am not certain, that the shutdown.exe on W7 is different to Vista and XP.

If on W7 RC1 I use the command, shutdown -s -t0 ,I get a delay in W7 and some script messages before attempting to close, which I don't get in Vista or XP.

    Bodgy, I know it as: shutdown.exe -s -t 01 ... same as for Vista.
There's a space between the t and zero.

hmm...after doing a system restore before the installation of trueimage it still doesn't power off the machine.
maybe there was a windows update before that and that caused a problem.
i'm not gonna blame trueimage anymore.

This is interesting. Although I've never had any shutdown issues with TI with Vista, one of the reasons I moved from ShadowProtect Desktop was because of the problem you talk about.

Not sure what correlation they both have - don't they both use the Snapman driver or something like that? Not sure if that could be the problem.
