I can't see that anyone has mentioned that you can disable Win 10 updates under services. It remains disabled through a reboot but don't know if Windows would over ride this.

    Has anyone tried this?

Thanks but I was not talking about that in Group Policy, instead I specifically mentioned the option under Services or if that served the same purpose.

Thanks - the real point of this post was that since MS has made such a great deal about mandatory updates will these workarounds be valid or do they have some mechanism to overide them. They must have known that these would be found very easily. Maybe no one knows yet for certain.

10 has tasks, which can restore even disabled services to fix issues with Windows Updates, you need to disable them as well.

Is there a stand alone product for Windows Updates. Like what comes in 360TS? Where I can choose exactly what updates to install.
