unstalling kaspersky

    what programs do ya need to remove everything kaspersky left behind after you unstalled it

    After you've uninstalled through control Panel-Add/Remove then if it's Kav 4.5 go here for a regcleaner utility (there's also one for kav 5.0) after running you should be clean.
    If you're using Kav 5.0 and XP then download NTFS Streams Eraser (to remove ADS) and run that once in normal mode and once in safemode , it's faster this way than if you just scan in safemode once. :)

    You really need to use a reg cleaner . Man , KAV changes everything in the registry . It attaches it self to most of it . lol . This is one of the reasons it can slow computers . Good luck in your quest

    KAV doesn't leave a lot of junk behind but in any case you can download the removal tools from ICE Systems.
