Uninstalling McAfee?

My new computer came with trial version of Mcafee installed. It is no doubt a good AV, but when the trial is up I plan to go to Bit Defender, and LnS.

I know that Norton is difficult to uninstall, but how about McAfee?

What version of Virus scan and do you have Mcafee security center also

 

Do plenty of 'homework' first! Had some friends that were never totally able to remove McA Security Suite (7 I think?) from their ME box. Their system is still quite tainted. Some of the AV/Computer companies have us 'over a barrel' to start with! This is probably the main reason I'm still using NAV. I know I won't get rid of it totally until I do a fresh OS reinstall!
