In the 5.7.1026 update there is this bit of information:

Preparations for the next major revision of SUPERAntiSpyware!

What exactly is this referring to? Does anyone know?

I have recently given SAS a run on my x64 desktop. Boy it's fast, the context scan especially so. SAS is the only anti-malware program to ever find anything malicious on a computer I have owned, so I have always had faith in it. I'm impressed.

What did it find, and by the way are you still using version 5?

SAS found a trojan (from an infected flash advert) that Norton and SpyBot missed around five years ago on a laptop. I have version 5.7.1026 at the moment on two machines (desktop x64 Win 7, laptop x86 Vista).

I gave the beta 6.0.0.1032 a test for a few days on my x86 (Vista) laptop. I was quite impressed with the new GUI, I didn't encounter any problems with it. As it's close to being released I went back to the current stable in anticipation.
