Malware Group: Community.Heuristic

Ok (Joe),

I was playing around with some more types of software as you know i like to every now and then,

i went to http://www.looknstop.com/En/download.htm

a legitimate firewall and website, and the x64 version gave me an heuristics warning, surely an FP?

however, im more interested in the 'Community.Heuristic'

what the hell does that mean?

 

I've fixed the FP, but Community.Heuristic is controlled by the "Advanced Heuristics" area in the Heuristic Settings screen within Prevx 3.0. I suspect you may have your heuristic settings above the normal range which would be why they are more likely to trigger a warning.
