shareaza

    has anyone got a ruleset for shareaza? I have application filtering to allow shareaza, but I got poor connections, until I switch off look n stop. I am new to look n stop and cannot figure out how to allow internet connections.

    Ron,

    I realize you don't mention using Shareaza but did you happen to notice
    anything questionable re. downloading via Shareaza\Gnut.2 ?

    I have D\L'ed many times without problems but yesterday after D\Ling several recordings
    including two 'Juan Diego Florez', AVG reported,
    'Trojan Horse Downloader.1stbar.9.AU' in both JDF recordings - nothing reported in any of the other stuff.

    I Googled about a bit but cannot see any ref. to this mentioned 1stbar and
    am wondering if its a FP.

    Hello Micro,

    I'm not a user of Shareaza. I suppose the possibility exists there may be downloads that are compromised with a trojan.
    You could try an online scan or see what AVG has to say.
