Considering the importance of Open Source software to the core beginnings of the computer revolution as we know it to be, it amazes me how little respect it receives in certain arenas. Having been on the scene at the DOS 3.0 stage and grown with systems since, we often found Open Source software to be our saving grace in getting work done before the world of GUIs took control. I still prefer command line operations. Hopefully, Open Source will get the wide spread respect it deserves and start being included as systems that need protecting to the highest level. Definitely worth the effort.

True. That would be those who don't remember the days of Bernoulli disks, XT computers and the original Leisure Suit Larry!
