Did you have multiple drives on the same device and does your recovery tool scan the entire device looking for lost partitions ?
And did you clean the MFT with PrivaZer (not only the free space) ?

    Here is a test.

    1) I copied around 2GB of files (some privazer installation files copied multiple times) on a 2 GB drive F:
Here are the folders containing the files :

    2) I deleted them all (they were sent to the recycle bin and then I emptied the recycle bin)

    3) I run Recuva. The recovery is possible. Around 2 GB of files to be recovered as you can see below.
That's normal as emptying the recycle bin is not a secure deletion.

    4) I scan now the same drive with PrivaZer, it found traces in the MFT, in the free space, in the USN Journal and in the $LogFile :

    5) Now I run the PrivaZer cleanup with following options :

and the result of the cleanup :

    6) I check the cleanup with PrivaZer and Recuva. No files can be recovered now !

And with Recuva, nothing to be recovered anymore :

    even with Recuva "deep scan".
All 0 byte files listed below are the one used by PrivaZer to clean the free space, the MFT, the USN Journal and the $Logfile

Filenames, file contents have beeen securely erased by PrivaZer.

    Hope it helps,

Is there a way so that PrivaZer does Not create Registry Back Ups at all?

Ok, i don't have this behaviour on severals computers, with these settings, no registry is backed up, maybe you should uninstall it + remove parameters when asking and try again.
    Version pro 4.0.114.
    Maybe others users could confirm.

    @ArchiveX,
    under investigation...
Do you run some automatic cleanups ? At PC startup for instance ? Or at browser closing ?

Maybe your registry backup is not created by PrivaZer itself but Windows :
    Check these :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Configuration Manager, is the key "EnablePeriodicBackup" exist ? if not you could create-it using Powershell :
    Code:
New-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Configuration Manager" -Name EnablePeriodicBackup -Type DWORD -Value 0
    Also in taskscheduler disable Microsoft>Windows>registry>RegIdleBackup

Restart computer and check, if nothing occurs, please delete the created registry key and revertback RegIdleBackup to previous state.

PS :The changes made in registry always delicate, At your own risk!!!!

I used PowerShell and created the key "EnablePeriodicBackup" with Value O.
    I disabled Task Scheduler Microsoft>Windows>registry>RegIdleBackup
PrivaZer STILL stores Registry Back Ups.
    It is PrivaZer; not Windows.
