Anyone running Prevx 3 SOL with Norton Security Suite? If so do they get along with no hitches? Just wondering since I can get the latest version for 15 bucks thanks to a holiday gift card...

Cant speak for Norton "Suite", but NIS 2011 & Px 3.0 all good here in one XPSP3 set-up.

Exactly the same here. Not a problem. I use to set Prevx's self protection to medium or minimum to prevent sluggishness at start up.

Yup, have been running prevx & NIS 2011 for many months (also with NIS2010 before Nov) & never had a problem. (Although see my other post thread - we are coming up for renewal and considering changing from NIS due to user interaction where NIS is unsure about file status).

This is my setup on Win7 64 and Win XP 32. No problems for me.

I'm trialing it now (NIS 2011 and Prevx 3) and things seem smooth...

This combination is great. NIS is absolutely great. They really made a great product and it'll eventually inhilate many other vendors out there. I do think Prevx will counter this with their new version though. And still, Prevx works absolutely fine beside NIS and adds an additional very, very strong layer.

NIS & Prevx is the best security combo I have ever had and they coexist nicely without any hitches.

    Cough.

Wow, the first time I've heard that statement for many years.

    Hello all! :)

PrevX 3 is NO MORE compatible with Norton Toolbar and IPS Addons (NIS 18.6.0.29) with FF 5 and New IE 9 Updated...

They collide with each other :-( Hence the crashes one may encounter.

    Cheers,
    Herve

Thanks Triple Helix for your reply!
Isn't ìt a source of conflicts with 2 AVs running at the same time (Webroot PrevX Beta and Norton AV included in NIS)?

    Cheers,
    Herve

Don't be afraid. I am running the both without a single hitch.

LOL me too. I gave up on it when it couldn't remove the virus. Not to mention the cost too.
