Post-Image Reboot

    I thought read somewhere that a reboot was necessary after making a disk image backup. Is that really necessary? I never heard that before.

    I assume you mean after creating the image from a running Windows system You would, of course, have to reboot after booting to something else (the imaging boot media, another OS, etc.) to get back into Windows.

    There shouldn't normally be any need to reboot after creating an image.
