Very nice interface, blending more with the Aero look in Vista. It has more options it appears as well.

I have one question, new realased Norton Anti-Bot will build in one of the Norton security application version, or not?
I mean, for exlample, NIS 2008 will containe same functions, that have NAB, or it will different product? or both variants at the same time?

 

I hope you can turn off that damn toolbar in Firefox. I hate toolbars taking up my screen space when I don't need the toolbar. I know where the icon is in the systray.

J/K, I admire your loyalty to Dr Web. Because of this they should give you the new Beta before the public release (I know, but it doesn't hurt to dream).

The beta for NIS 2008 has started almost 2 weeks ago. I've already tested.

knowing just 'some' of the things ready for V5 drweb, is enough for me to stay happy.

just one thing is a proactive defense, 'different' and better than kasperskys PDM (so they say..)

I read on a German Blog (http://blog.chip.de/0-security-blog/wo-symantec-die-firewall-von-sygate-versteckt-20070614/#more-81) that there will be no NIS2008 but only Norton 360?? Please tell me it's not true, I read here that some people are already testing NIS2008 beta, right? I just got to like NIS, I cannot believe they are abandoning it ...

Is the firewall in NIS (2007 and 2008 ) also based on Sygate or is it Symantec's own development?
