    I would like to reduce(remove)the noise........have a PX6800tdh Leadtek 256mb on a Asus P5GD1 MB......any cooler recommendations (that would fit) :doubt:

I have done some research in this area for graphic cards. There are some inexpensive solutions that are silent, but not efficient. My recommendation is to stick with the factory cooler on the GPU.

The CPU cooler you have in another post got good reviews. I would wait to see how much quieter the system is before persuing a GPU cooler.

I was doing some more research in this area. Gigabyte has some "Silentpipe" cards that you might want to look at. If you have sufficient air flow over the cards, then they may be a solution.

I believe Gigabyte also has a passively-cooled GeForce 6800 Ultra.....those are almost noiseless.

But a small question - Wouldn't the addition of a 3rd party cooler on your GPU and CPU void the warranty? o_O

The "SilentPipe" cards are passive, and noiseless. That is why I pointed them out specifically.

I do not believe that 3rd party coolers void CPU warrenty (If you keep the original fan, how will they know anyway?). GPUs on the otherhand are more likely to be a problem.

I have not read any good reviews on third party passive GPU coolers. Most have been pretty bad.
