    Hi guys,

I need to gather some info about some security stuff (specially malware).
So i decided to ask the experts here, to get the info from a trusted source (you never know if google tells you the truth :D )

It is for a school homework. I need to make a presentation (guess this is the right word...) showing to my classmates some concepts about Trojans, Keyloggers, Port Scanners, Network Sniffers and something about breaking passwords (i.e. Bruteforce, etc.)

Thanks in Advance and sorry for my not so good english...

    Hi Weber,

bigc covered the viruses, so I'll try and cover the "parasites" "hijackers" and "trojans" a bit.

    Parasites: http://doxdesk.com/
Variants of the CWS hijacker/trojan: Merijn's CoolWebSearch Chronicles
And this might help with information on Trojans (there's some great links there too) http://www.misec.net/papers/

I know there is alot more out there, but this is all I could think of at the moment. Hope it helps a bit. :)

    Regards,

    snap
