mcafee question

    i have a question on mcafee, when you buy a box retail or do a download from there website. do they give you a serial key?

    I haven't bought a boxed one so I dunno, but online, I didn't get a key, just a login name and password to put in the downloading program and you select your program.

    Yea, you get a key number, when pulling it off the website. I had trouble with the cut and paste one time but eventually got it. It was not to bad. They make you go through the account, user name and password process.

    I have it free through my ISP but still go through all this. I think it is all outsourced that way now.
