When clicking on this link Mark Forums Read is it possible to skip the confirmation dialog? If not, could you add a setting to prevent this?
    TIA

I'm afraid not. That's core XenForo code and I'm not going to hack a change into it. In any case, the link is multi-purpose... Marking a single forum as read, if you are in a forum section when clicking it, or marking all forums as read. That's why the dialog is there. The verification on marking all read is there because of accidental clicks. For some people, accidentally marking all forums read is a hardship since they lose all their placeholders.

Yea, I've been a victim of this even with verification. I don't like the option where all forums are marked as read. I.e, if I'm in the Other Security Topics section and accidentally Mark Forums Read, everything is reset. It would be better if only the forums in that section get reset instead of everything. If I'm in the Wilders Security Forums section and I do this, that's fine with me, but not for sections.

Alright I agree, but this should be configurable at user's Control Panel this way everybody have choices.

LWM, I presume you've already looked into the possibility of restricting the "mark all as read" option to just the front (index) page of the forums and found it unworkable? As you probably know, that's the way most other board-software deals with this situation.
