    I highly doubt all Malwarebytes detection is based on file name however I don't care if they detect some by filename. If its doing that good why care how its detecting the threats?

    Also look at the MBAM Rock-Star research team. You got sUBS who has made combofix a tool used by many malware removers that I doubt its based on filename. Its highly impossible that the whole MBAM research team are rouge agents...

    And the fallout would be disastrous PR for the company if this were the case.

    Go look at test results and reviews for MBAM.
