Hello All: For those who have not read it elsewhere and beginning earlier this week (Tuesday?), Apple started silently pushing eligible macOS MRTConfigData update files (Malware Removal Tool) to version 1.85. HTH Reference: Hold down the option ⌥ key + select Menu -> Select System Information... -> In the left pane, of window that opens, under Software, select Applications -> In the same window's upper-right pane, scroll down and select the MRT app. The lower-right pane will display limited additional MRT.app information.
Apple seems to have silently pushed version 1.86 of their MRTConfigData file. My MBP18,1 (running macOS 12.1 Monterey on a M1/ARM64) updated /Library/Apple/System/Library/CoreServices/MRT.app on this last Thursday evening.
