    Hello All

Would it be better for my Samsung 990 Pro 1TB Be the Boot Drive vs Samsung 990 Evo Plus 1TB as the current Boot drive?

I can make the Samsung 990 Evo Plus 1TB the Game M.2 NVMe if the current 2nd Drive would be better as Boot drive

**Note Samsung 990 Pro 1TB does have Heatsink, the Samsung 990 Evo Plus 1TB does not have Heatsink, but case is Lian Li Lancool 216 ARGB case, so cooling wise should have plenty of airflow

Whatever drive you're going to be writing to and reading from the most should be you nvme. I would tend to think that would be your gaming drive, as it is the case with me.

I got 2 NVME's currently, for moment just attempt to determine if one would better as the Boot drive or if it doesn't even matter

USA still the best. But barely.
Boot Drive = OS? If so we're talking a second at the most difference.

Oh ok, then i'll just decide not to even bother on this issue.

In the future just get my 2TB Game NVMe, and probably make the 990 Evo Plus External at that time in Enclosure.

There is not much difference between the two speed-wise, but since one of them is for gaming, then I will leave the pro that has a heat-sink as the gaming drive, and use the evo as the boot drive. Gaming will generate more heat than simply running an OS. From my own experience, Samsung nvme ssd's greatly throttle their transfer speeds if the temp increases above 60 C.
