for 'Problems with Acronis bootable rescue media' Acronis Support it advises:
<boot your computer from the Acronis True Image rescue disc and press F11 key when the selection screen appears. After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, please modify it in the following way:

    quiet acpi=off noapic

and click on the OK button. >

but what is "Linux kernel command line" prompt?? on reboot i see starting acronis full mode, acronis safe mode, normal SO windows.... :cautious:

I do not see command line prompt....:ouch:

    Hi swan_x,

When you get to the screen that says Start Acronis Full mode, Acronis Safe mode or Continue booting into Windows just press the F11 key to enter the Linux kernal command line and then add the commands acpi=off noapic (leave a space after quiet) and click OK.

    Regards
