    Hi.

When trying to open eicar.org I get the following warning (snapshot).
    Can someone reproduce the situation?

I think that is because the site doesn't have a trusted certificate (something related to https), doesn't necessarily means that the site was hacked.

But maybe it was, i dont know :doubt:

If you try wilderssecurity ssl connection you'll get the same message, but there's no problem.

Not only this is the first time it happens (I visit Eicar often) but the strange thing is that there is an attempt of redirection to itcon.info, whoever they are (WOT has no info on this domain).

Thanks for the link ronjor but you'll have to point me to any relevant information there. On my own I'm blind.

It appears there is a problem with the certificate. Information appears to be correct as far as the registrant of the site goes.

I would give the site a few days to see if it is corrected and you're welcome.

    That's weird for a Security-related site...:doubt:

@ Joxx ... I don't recognize the icon. Which program produced the warning?

It's the Pale Moon browser, based on Firefox.

The cert issue seems to have gone away as I am not seeing it via Moz or IE.

Yeap, it's working again. I wonder what it was.

It was merely a localized disturbance in the Matrix. The simulation has been restored and you may now continue with your ordinary activities.
