IMVU, is it safe?

    Hello,

    I use Yahoo! and MSN Messenger for instant messengers to talk to my friends and family. I am wondering if anyone knows if a program called "IMVU" is safe from spyware and other malware...

    I have done a cursory glimpse and flank of IMVU's IP neighbors and found no anomalies, if that helps. I can only assume that legitimate IM platforms (if that's the term) can serve as portals for eventual advertising, as do the other major players.

    The website looks like ''spyware'' for me be careful, get Miranda or Trilian Free/Pro.
