    Hi

Using an external EIDE drive via USB, Vista SP1 formatted it as exFAT (aka FAT64). The other day, Vista stopped being able to read it when I plugged it in and told me I needed to format it. Using a free utility TestDisk, I stupidly changed the file system to NTFS as TestDisk suggested and now Vista says it is unreadable and corrupted!

I have just bought a copy of Acronis Disk Director Suite but it seems not to support exFAT or FAT64. I would like to recover my data somehow.

    Can anyone please help me?

    Thanks in advance,
    jon
