  1. LOL I noticed this too. Windows Phone? I mean who uses that crap o_O

  2. WTF. Does anyone know which company did this? Looks like it was Italian but I'm unsure.

@krustytheclown2 - people who want to exploit Linux will do so and will have industrialised systems to do it. For the well-resourced, it's not a biggie, and as we've seen, this stuff gets out there sooner or later. Attack is easy.

It's just a question of which market is being attacked. If you're after individuals, as HT and Gamma are, then their targets will almost certainly have at least one of the devices they support.

But if you're after some corporate or sys admin in a Telco, then yes, you'll have Linux attack tools too. The attack might be supplemented by initial exploitation of weaker devices, but nevertheless.

I can certainly recommend using some Linux hardening tools for stuff like browsing, and for example as we know, that's very easy with Firejail. It's no help saying Linxux is secure if one invites a cuckoo into the nest via browsers and Flash.

That was the MB antiexploit. I had not heard of it until recently. Maybe I'll give it a try. It just protects your browser though. And you need the Premium version to block flash and pdf exploits.

    Hi caspian,

Just to let you know, in supported browsers you don't need the Premium version of MBAE for plug-in protection. (Including flash and pdf plug-ins.)

    Cheers.

Correct, it protects browsers + plugins, but if you're worried about exploits, I think the Premium version is worth it.

Been running MBAE for about a year now, happy with it. One thing to be aware of is that it (unsurprisingly) may conflict with the default application profiles loaded with Emet. If both are active for an application (e.g. Word), then it will crash sporadically or fail to start..
