What I did here is extract all the files by right clicking on it, extract using WinZip, and remove the toolbar installer then run setup normally. If for some reason I want to keep the installer, I just zip it up again without the toolbar installer. Nero should give us the choice if we want to download the one with toolbar or the one without, like they used to do before when they are bundling Yahoo Toolbar...

For some reason all anti viruses are detecting the latest NERO set up as malware

Because the newest build contains a toolbar.

I have a TCPIP patch for Windows XP. (EventID 4226 Patcher)
It changes's XP half-open connections. ESS quar'd and deleted it.
I believe the ability to mark objects as safe is coming? Hope so.

This patch is classified as a potentially unsafe application. Disabling this option should do the trick.

Ah, thanks. Although, I might not want other potentially unsafe apps,
so I might leave it checked and wait until I can mark as safe or something.

As Marcos said , you can uncheck detection for PUPs , install Nero without the toolbar (it has this option) and then again enabled the option for finding PUPs ;)
