Yeah not 2010, but not 2008. You would think they would update the logo ;)

Let us know how it goes :D

Personally, I wouldn't touch it - not for technical reasons, but because one of the guys involved.

Some time ago, the Australian representative of a major AV company suggested that he could convince his employer to invest substantial funds, or licence my product as a "white label" solution from us. Possibly a very good thing for me.

Of course, this was interesting, so I had a coffee with him, and it all looked good. There was just one catch, which came right at the end of the meeting. For sure, he'd be willing to do a very large deal with us, but before he started we had to licence Encassa (in which he had an interest) so that when his employer looked at us, he'd get dragged along for the ride.

I wasn't interested in the Encassa tech; If I thought it was needed I've have written it - and didn't want to be 'forced' to add it as part of a larger deal. I told him to go away, perhaps a little impolitely - my views on adding unwanted add-ons with little benefit into applications are already well known.

Never heard from them again until they spammed my forum.

    Hi Mike.

    Very interesting !

I havn't tested it, so i can't comment if it does what it says, it might be ok ?

Wonder what that was :D At least the coffee didn't cost you too much, unless he was buying.

Maybe he just saw an oppourtunity, but picked the wrong guy !

Tried to do a search there for it, but no luck :(

I can't recall who bought the coffee. I hope it wasn't me :) Yes, it might well be a good product, I just don't give people chances when they play games like that.

The spam was gone from our forum within moments of noticing it, and a Whisky Tango Foxtrot email was sent to them seconds later.
