Because of my work I'm on the road a lot, so I bought S40.. It's just a pleasure to drive with.. Realy great car.
Before that one I had Mercury Sable, and it was a good car to but nowhere near the Volvo.. We have great cars here in Europe. :) I'm thinking of buying BMW Z3 now..

    U got that right! :D

Should start a new thread on this but since it's related, ;)

What is maximum speed u have ever experienced in a vehicle?

For me it's 160 mph. in a 1967 Camaro owned by a childhood friend, built for oval track racing, buzzing down a concession road at about 4:00 in the morning, 30yrs. ago.... I remember it like it was yesterday.

By speedometer, 135mph. In my 1970 Z28. If it had been geared differently, sky is the limit. It would get the biggest part of that in a quarter mile.
I did worry about those "maypop" tires back then. :D

I like ford performance cars. But I have to fess up that the 70's vintage muscle cars from GM were good lookers.

Did that one have the 35 gallon gas tank or was that the fastback? (You needed a big tank!)
