Gizmos list has some good stuff. This topic was really created to post obscure programs that others may not know about.

Thanks everyone who followed the format. Those that havent will be reported. If you cant follow the format then dont post and waste our time.

This is what you said in the opening post.

I don't see anything about obscure in it. You opened it up for a free for all, and thats what you are getting.

Reporting is for TOS violations, or very off topic posts. Since your Subject is "Best Freeware", anything related to freeware is almost fair game. Also can you show me where in TOS it says a posted must follow the format the OP has requested.

Not really looking for huge public lists. Looking for more of the secret not so well known softwares that nobody knows about.

Don't be such an alarmist. The program itself is not dangerous. The content available on the network can be dangerous. But any random download from a website can be dangerous too.

Im pretty sure anything Gnutella based is garbage.

Your way more likely to get a virus on Frostwire/Limewire/etc than you are from a legit torrent site like Coda.fm for music.

Anything running the Gnutnella network isn't a good idea. The biggest problem I found with Frostwire when I last used it, before the Mafia...erm, I mean RIAA started busting down doors, was that the program was not very reliable to use. Connection issues were the norm for me.

As Peter pointed out to you, starting a thread doesn't give you ownership rights. There are special forums for dealing with control issues :p
