Background PC monitoring

Does anyone use a tool to monitor PC changes in the background ?

Things like if a driver file was loaded ..

 

do u mean like WinPatrol?

 

any hips will do this and now malwarebytes ip protection also will alert you if something is been blocked

 

Windows Defender will tell you every thing also. I use it all the time , great little free program.

 

ouch do you actually use all that^^? thats so much software to be running all at once man...

WD isnt as full featured a system monitor as WinPatrol. and HIPS are more for protection while i think of winpatrol as an informant.

 

I was thinking more of a "file monitor" type tool.

Doesn't have to be a security tool.

Had a look at winpatrol , didn't see any file logs in it.

 

WinPatrol has a hidden files monitor.

 

Maybe this is an option,not real-time though it checks for changes at boot-up ?
