I have Keepass 2 on my PC, I am Trying to put the Necessary Apps on my cell phone so I can pay my bills and email and other things as Windows 10 end of service on 10/14/2025. I was going to put Linux mint on my computer but its one disaster after another. Is there a way of importing the database from my computer to my cell phone?
Yes... https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...he database from my computer to my cell phone You could tell us about your "disaster" or post it here https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxmint/
You posted an ambiguous statement and I asked for some more detail. I hardly consider that as "trolling".
Database is on the desktop with out using dropbox I Have it in password only mode I used the password from the old desktop version thinking I can up-date my password later. THE DIALOG BOX SAID THE number matched so it could synchronized, but it doesn't go back to the password page.
I use Keepaas2Android. Installed on my cell phone and have KeePass (requires Mono) installed in my computer. I use Slackware. I am using DropBox for the password database. It's a local file in a DropBox folder on my computer. I also have to Dropbox App on my cell phone. If you don't use Dropbox You should be able to copy the database file to your cell phone. That is what I did before I decided to use DropBox.
I emailed the data base for Keepass .kdbx and the data base for Money Manager EX to .mmb to my cell Phone. I now get " Invalid composite Key
Presently I am at Database screen. I deleted my database added a master password and bio-metric unlock.
So it working now? I use just master password and have bio-metric (fingerprint) turned on in my cellphone.
I'd kind of like to go with a key file also BUT, I did that a long time ago. I discovered the hard way that no key file, no access. If I do decide to use a key file, I will have multiple backups safely stored away.
Unfortunately that is not the end of the set-up, now I see there is template's to do? There is also a code to protect the database.
I've been using KeePass2Android for years, never bothered with Templates. I have 212 entries. The code is the password. If you are referring to the QuickUnlock it's that last 4 of your password.
