I'm not sure if DiskGenius can move partitions.

    Edit... Yes, it can.

I had a quick look at the DiskGenius website.
I like how they push their other software Isoo Backup in their backup tutorial.

That aside. I've read some good reports about DiskGenius.
R-Drive Image is another one I haven't tried.

Back on topic. Hasleo Backup Suite is gaining a lot of traction around various forums, including Windows 11 Forum. There is a lengthy thread there.
In fact, there is also a TeraByte Drive Image Backup And Restore Suite thread there.

It's from DiskGenius, I don't have any spare USB's to do more boot media but I can add things to my two identical Ventoy Flash drives. I had never done moves before and I wished the section where one drags/slides actually shows the partitions instead of just blank space. EaseUS and AOMEI was easier to use as the slider is way too small on a 15" 3840x2160 UHD 4K notebook screen.

This is interesting as I did exactly what you said before as I do that on other sites and it works but when I tried it here, it will only show a link instead of the image but it works now for whatever reason.

My apologies, had the other thread opened but did not check updates on this thread. I see it now after I already gotten things done but when I was using DiskGenius in Hiren's BootCD earlier, I did try dragging it and it doesn't work so I had to use EaseUS/AOMEI to do the moving and then DiskGenius to set the exact partition size on the two moved partitions. EaseUS did the 1.06GB correctly but not the DELLSUPPORT which I was hoping to keep the consecutive 234 number but when it did the work, it changed it to 2.35. I will probably need to try this out in the future and restore the same image to an external drive or something just for practice and see how it works out. So it seems that on all of these programs talking about AOMEI, Hasleo, Minitool, EaseUS, they are really all Chinese companies that provide similar software and basically the arrows at each end of the bar is to select the size of the partition while the 4 way arrows like a cross is to move a partition. I actually was able to do it by shrinking the C first but just not click on the Start button. It's weird but it doesn't work when I needed it to earlier and now it does when I don't need it anymore. For the bar, they should really just show all the partitions like how it shows the partition map instead of just free space on both sides since you can't really tell where exactly on the disk it is moving to. DiskGenius in their documentation and How To's doesn't seem to have anything about moving partitions, only resizing.

Have a question, what is the difference between Resize and Extend in these programs since it seems like Resize already has the Extend function as well?

To be honest, I never knew they had another backup software since it seems like DiskGenius is marketed as a all in one tool as it does disk images, cloning, data recovery, bad sector repair, partitioning.

As for Hasleo, I was going to ask something. I know in all partitioning software, they will talk about 4K alignment. Hasleo talks about 1M alignment which is supposed to be part of 4K and better, I noticed none of the other partitioning software has anything other than 4K alignment. Looks like PartWork for Windows has it as well and they call it 1MB alignment.

I believe on Elevenforums, it seems more people are non-believers there and think Hasleo is being developed too fast with negative thinking that it's not as good as Macrium Reflect X but it's @TheRollbackFrog who I believe is providing the excellent support here and there as someone mentioned elevenforums in this thread earlier here which made him also post on the forums there and answering questions from people there. What matters is the Hasleo developers will fix bugs within hours like I had experienced with successfully backing up since it took me 4 versions over a 6 day period before I actually was able to backup and restore, the first 2 fixes were more to fix the backup problem while the 3rd fix was to fix the restore problem which are all related to the DELLSUPPORT partition.

@TheRollbackFrog - Was working up creating a New Emergency UFD and why it's not been noticed before defies explanation, so far to me. So i turn to you -
Tested the newly made HASLEO BACKUP SUITE Emergency DSK and noticed that IT, and even booting into the Hasleo BootMenu in BcEdit when the screen comes up it's missing COMPLETELY the MOUNT IMAGE setting in the drop Menu. Even had a few minor freeze ups  causing a hard reboot again to get back to the work screen a second time.

Is it by design that the Mount Image AND Mount/Unmount Image is missing when inside and under the GUI? Because launching it with regular Windows GUI, BOTH Mount/Unmount in TOOLS (Is There). Same for the drop menu.

I just found it odd completely by accident (caught off guard) that the only way to see those Mount/Unmount Settings is in the regular Windows GUI but MISSING when bringing up the Hasleo Screen from either Boot Menu or UFD :thumbd:

@EASTER - here's a short DISCUSSION from the Hasleo Forum on the subject. Not much is given by the Forum's Admin on the issue.

Ah Nice @TheRollbackFrog - Appreciate the pointer to that very thing i questioned myself. I suppose it's not necessary per say. The Hasleo DEV'S explanation lends some credence as to the why not. At least from their current perspective.

They may be holding that WinPE feature back until they make a decision about PAID versions. As it stands now, WinPE versions do not have a time bomb in them so they will work ad infinitum... just speculating here.

I rarely use the UFD Emergency Disk at all. Depending solely on the bcedit boot menu route which serves it's place perfectly on this end (for now). However with each new release, it's that release's UFD Pen Drive we like to keep current, since even a Solid State Drive can go belly up, or anything else for that matter/ And that's where the UFD Pen Emergency Disk will recover nicely after a hardware change. :)

Additionally: a semi Anomaly does exist. (If it can be labeled that?)

In HBS V5.4.2.2, exclusive to the Emergency Disk UFD. (completely separate from my earlier finding). If you have NOT set a Default Storage Folder as it will prompt you for continuously. This one likely can't actually be isolated (i guess) and labeled anomaly by description, yet it EXISTS. However it won't interfere in any way with the workings or carrying out features AFTER YOU ARE BOOTED FROM THE HASLEO PE EMERGENCY DISK.........

I built mine out of this latest release exported the ISO and built it with Rufus also latest version.

If you don't plug in your external storage media FIRST before booting Emergency Disk Hasleo in RED WORDS/NUMBERS will not discover your storage drive EVEN AFTER YOU PLUG IT IN while still in Hasleo Screen. As i said no real issue per say but Aomei Backupper doesn't have that discovery problem. (i USE BOTH)

So just remember be sure to plug in your media storage USB cord BEFORE activating the Hasleo UFD boot up sequence OR YOU WILL HAVE TO REBOOT AGAIN WITH THE STORAGE MEDIA PLUGGED IN ALREADY. :)

Kudos: That Change Version menu within the program continues to be ever so useful in selecting which backup, incremental/diff to select for WHATEVER maintenance.

I downloaded this apparent fix release for the issue described HERE
Is there any others who with an OEM Windows got blue screened after Cumulative Update change to the Windows Recovery Partition?
I made several increments AFTER a Cumulative from/to a FULL BACKUP without the Update.

Wish I could help! My main test platform runs the W10 IoT Enterprise LTSC edition... updates/upgrades on that platform are waaaaay behind the common Commercial platforms (Home, Pro, Pro Workstation, Enterprise). I'll put the word out (lots of colleagues using HBS) and see if I can find some feedback for you.

I too use as a test platform IoT Enterprise LTSC BUT Windows 11 version latest. No issues there.

On my other system which caught me by surprise is Windows 11 HOME where apparently the behind the scenes change of Recovery Partition kinda threw the HASLEO INCREMENT CHAIN into the same issue as the reported problem in the Hasleo Forums AFTER the Cumulative Update. It just necessitated creating a NEW FULL BACKUP in order for the chain of incremental's/differential's FROM THAT TASK to return to being back in sync again after the update. So no huge problem overall. :)

That's exactly what Macrium REFLECT does when MicroSloth tampers with the image geometry... it has to start over, no choice.

Users can avoid this MicroSloth anomaly with some minor geometry (partition) work.

When you do this work you should not change the order of the partitions being manipulated otherwise special partition registration will no longer be valid (ie, the Windows Recovery Partition <RE> is the most famous for this).

Many OEM and individual builds will wind up with the RE (Windows Recovery Partition) located right after the OS partition... a great starting place. Some OEM builds will not do this for you... be careful.

Essentially, fire up your favorite partition mgmt. tool via WinPE (so that the LIVE OS partition is no longer LIVE). Shrink the RIGHT SIDE of your OS partition by at least 1gB or so, expand the LEFT SIDE of your adjacent RE partition to take up the space just freed up by the OS partition change... that's it. The partition placement does not change when you do this, and the RE partition now has an additional 1gB of space to work with. This geometry change will, of course, cause your favorite imaging application to barf and create a new FULL image, so the best time to do this is right before your next scheduled FULL image that includes these partitions.

Note: You can also do this in your LIVE Windows by using the SHRINK function of the OS partition under Disk Management. Once that's done, you can then use the LIVE version of your favorite partition tool to complete the task on your RE partition. This will keep you from having to reBOOT your System into the off-line version of partition mgmt.

After this change, any MicroSloth update/upgrade that requires additional space in the RE partition for a new, larger WinRE.wim will not need to do anything to the RE partition due to not having enough space to do it with. Since the new WinRE.wim requirements are small, the additional 1gB of RE partition space should work at least until Windows 13 or so

I made this change the 1st time I ever saw this issue and haven't seen it since. Some crazy OEM builds (some DELL, some others) don't actually put the RE partition right next to the OS partition. These builds require a bit more work to make this type of change.

What is the best way to fully uninstall Hasleo (esp. the registry entries)? I do not want to use any uninstaller software. Thanks.

HBS v5.4.2.3 is now available, see HERE for changes.

My observation... although this release "fixes" the flaw where HBS tasks do not image System type images correctly when their geometry has changed (partition tweaks maybe, MicroSloth upgrades modifying partition geometry, etc.), that problem continues to exist in Disk/Partition images. Scheduled task-based DISK/PARTITION images do not image the modified partitions whose geometry has changed, only the ones that haven't changed. This includes all automatic image types (Full, Diff & Inc) as well as MANUAL images done from that task definition. This can be serious, especially when restoring a disk with an image that is now missing modified partitions from the past. The worst part about this flaw is that HBS does not inform the user that it is now abandoning those partitions when making the new images... a real surprise at restoration time.

I consider this a major flaw, especially as MicroSloth continues to change partition geometry (OS & Windows Recovery <RE> partitions) occasionally while doing major updates/upgrades. With the app not even informing the user of these changes then not imaging them is critical, IMHO.

Other imaging apps (ie, Macrium REFLECT) will see these geometry changes and automatically create an unscheduled FULL... a surprise to the user but perfectly acceptable as far as imaging backup is concerned (a new imaging chain being created for the geometrically changed disk).

Pls be aware of this anomaly... I'm confident the Devs will address this issue soon.

CONFIRMED on this end on at least one vital system - was very disheartened to experience it for myself. Lost 3 hours of Zzzz'z trying to see why what happened searching for something which i perceived as an overlook of some sort on my end. I assume they will amend and release a FIX also for Disk/Partition Backups as well now that the System situation image backups feature has concluded to satisfaction.
