Version 3.4.694 - (September 10, 2024) New kernel mode driver with stability improvements and optimizations. Network scanner tab UI redesign. Network devices discovery is significantly improved, now we can identify device type more accurately. Added many new network device types. Bug fixes.
Same here but forgot to post thanks @Surt Version 3.4.694 - (September 10, 2024) https://www.glasswire.com/changes/
@ 3x H - you're welcome. Noticed the driver, gwdrv.sys, is now signed by MS Windows Compatibility Publisher. Previously signed by Glasswire with a 2015 time stamp. Everything else what was signed Glasswire, now Domotz. As Spock would say, "Fascinating."
@Surt I went looking and I found this, created on my system when I got the update, a couple of days ago. Interesting, maybe?
Congratulations. ;) That's the driver referred to in my #578. It's always been there in \System32\drivers. I don't find it searching my \DriverStore\FileRepository. The path is truncated in your screenie, mine having 745 GUID-named folders in there and your folder would be unique to your system, no doubt, anyway. 745! SpyShelter's Events logged this: I don't know why the signer didn't render for the older version. Not worth the time or bandwidth to query SpyShelter support. On another Win10 Pro system still running .678, it does show Glasswire as the signer in the driver's file Properties. Cheers.
@Surt I too, have SpyShelter's Events logged for September 26, the day Glasswire updated on my laptop, but is way different to yours. Fascinating.
Version 3.4.748 - (November 27, 2024) Hash SHA-256: 5B6934F882514B306D3B0FF25C598E5949183613A0FAA8EE55F41E1F689C5708 GW now supports ARM devices. Added a new group on the GlassWire Protect tab for the apps do not exist anymore (e.g. uninstalled), so that users can delete them one by one or all at once in a single click. Added a new Version column to the GlassWire Protect tab. Translations fixed. Bug fixes. Download: https://www.glasswire.com/download/
Thanks, Triple Helix. Looks like the still unanswered posts about ARM support on their forum (mine, early October) got answered. Haven't yet nailed down a new laptop I've budgeted for, but now I can consider those equipped with dragon snappers. The added new group feature is looooong overdue. The all at once option will likely be the one I use once I update... Cheers.
Version 3.4.768 - (January 13, 2025) Hash SHA-256: 4BEAEDC5A10EEBC72FCA3AE9928028AFC402B1E9F92565FF235BE93B1217F34F Fixed issue where the graph briefly disappeared every few seconds. Improved header design in the firewall tab. Removed the distracting red dot on the user icon. Minor alignment fixes in the menu. Version 3.5.821 - (April 14, 2025) Download GlassWire 3.5.821 Hash SHA-256: E1FBAD7000249849828DAC805541F2485BB43A3B4DF17A788C96ED71F9291F94 Added new search feature to the following sections: Traffic Monitor. Log Analysis. Network Scanner. Improved existing search feature on GlassWire Protect section: it is now possible to search for other attributes in addition to the application name. Added new columns on GlassWire protect section. Fixed minimum window size to contain the remote connection state. Fixed Chinese translations. Fixed Network Scanner columns translations. Fixed various bugs.
Version 3.6.859 - (July 17, 2025) Download Firewall Software by GlassWire Changelog : Added directional firewall blocking for applications (incoming/outgoing). Removed GlassWire Score from the GlassWire Protect section. Restricted blocking of GlassWire components to prevent app issues. GlassWire Protect firewall access limited to Premium users. Fixed translations across multiple languages. UI Improvements: Standardized colors across the app. Fixed column order and resizing behavior. Adjusted text size for consistency. Resolved issues with installation and network scans.
Thanks! The GW score was fun for a while; not going to be missed. The new UI will take some getting used to, particularly the Protect layout. Still weighing the advantage(s) of separate in and out, block or allow connections for a few of my apps...
From their forum: Premium-Only Firewall Access: The GlassWire Protect firewall is now exclusive to our Premium plan, which continues to offer full firewall control. Free users can still monitor activity and upgrade anytime for advanced protection.
I have 3 Lifetime Licenses and it's in there and it works great! From there site: https://www.glasswire.com/features/
Got a lifetime license myself. Going on now for about ten years... Time flies! In addition to the all firewall and monitoring enhancements and features, there is a "toolbox of network security checks" as briefly described under the /features/ section of the link cited by Triple Helix in #593 above. This is so inclusive I can't imagine running a Windows box without GlassWire. (As this system is sans Wi-Fi, might as well keep it off.)
March 9th, 2016 here and your right it's been awhile as I did Beta Testing for the original owners also I miss Ken_GlassWire as he did allot for users back then. https://forum.glasswire.com/u/ken_glasswire/summary
The screenshot shows "Premium" on the top left. For lifetime licenses, GlassWire displays the edition, Pro or Elite. Has it changed recently, and is it "Premium" for all paid licenses now?
Well if yours says Premium you are on the new system and not the Lifetime Legacy. Mine says Elite and I have another Elite and a Pro keycodes.
I got it. The GUI screenshot you posted in your previous post is from the official website. I thought it was from your system. I appreciate your help. Thank you.
That's indeed a bit weird, I mean wasn't this feature always present? I'm guessing the new firewall feature might work independent from the Windows Firewall, can anyone confirm?
