Would it be better if you both have the same version of MiniTool Partition Wizard? That should be an easy task. I can't understand why it wasn't working for Tarnak.
When we are finished I'll describe how this is a 10 second job in TBOSDT Pro for BootIt. Command line without a GUI. But we'll finish this with AOMEI.
Great. Let's hope this is the final procedure... Right click the Win10 partition, click Resize/Move. Hover the mouse at the end of the shown partition, over the II symbol. You will see a 2 arrowhead icon. Don't use the 4 arrowhead icon. Drag it to the right as far as it will go. Release the mouse button. Don't tick the blank boxes OK, Apply, Proceed, etc.
Yes, I did and then it reverted to GUI you first see when you open the program. There is the big Apply button but I can't capture the image with Snipping Tool. I know there is another tool in Windows but I have forgotten the name of it. I got it.
No, I didn't. But, 40 minutes ago my laptop started to reboot, then it came up with a message on blackscreen which I am still staring at. Looks Like it is a failure. I am posting this from my other laptop. I took a picture with my smartphone. I have to work out how to get to my laptop.
That doesn't sound good. So you can't get into Windows? Edit, I'd power off, remove the 240 volts and remove the battery for 5 minutes. Then connect power and start the laptop.
It says ======= AOMEi Partition Assistant PreOS Mode ========== Then something about resizing the partition. Followed by this below: The Operation abort! Information Code: 48 Description: Press any key to restart.
