Some appreciable time after I start a Sandboxie-Plus x64 (v1.15.11) session in Windows 10 Pro (22H2), I suddenly notice that the yellow borders around sandoxed windows are gone. Checking further, I find the Sandboxie-Plus icon is also gone from the system tray. This has happened at least twice in the last week or two. I just updated to v1.15.12. Should this fix my problem? -- jclarkw
Now running Sandboxie Plus vs. 1.15.12, and this occasional disappearance of the yellow borders and closure of sandboxie itself is still happening very occasionally. So far I've discerned no pattern except that I normally have three sandboxes open -- one each for Firefox, Outlook 2016, and Chrome. -- jclarkw
@jclarkw Does anything show in Windows Reliability History? Do you have this setting turned on Sbie? https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/logmessageevents-setting-in-sandboxie-plus.455653/ Under Global settings.. shell integration .. are the top 2 ticked? I only ask this as the top one 'start UI with Windows' became unticked for me for some reason which caused this (fixed by reticking that setting) https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/sandboxie-plus-1-15-12.456821/#post-3233612 Just trying to think of anything which may help until someone else chimes in with some ideas.
Sorry, stapp, but you're over my head here: Where? How? It is now, if you mean "LogMessageEvents=y." Yes.
@jclarkw Reliability History Press the windows start flag at the bottom left of your taskbar. Immediately start typing the word reliability (no need to place your curser anywhere, windows does it automagically) Look at the screen and you will see a choice to open Reliability History. Let it load and see what comes up. You can click on anything that it shows.
stapp -- Man, that's fantastic! Attached are three images: The reliability timeline, details of the first sandman failure, and very similar details of the sadman second failure.
@jclarkw I cannot open your images. Can you do them a different way? EDIT.. when you open the details of the error you can highlight it with your curser and select 'copy' and then paste it here perhaps.
stapp -- Of course you can't, as I see them now! Sorry. I thought I was attaching a file when I pasted the URL into the box. Trying again... @jclarkw See here for a list of locations of dump files to check out. https://forum.xanasoft.com/threads/...rogram-has-crashed-viber-exe.2613/#post-10725 If you use a system cleaner note that many of them 'clean' up dump files (which is why I never select that option in them)
OK -- I found several of them on the first try in C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\CrashDumps. The most recent, corresponding to the second of the events listed above, is too large to upload, so I've put it on Dropbox.
