    I am wondering to what degree they disable any built in security for testing. I didn't see anything too detailed on that. As Microsoft came in at 9 I assume anything above that is faster than a default installation of Windows and everything would be slower than whatever their base measurement was.

    They seem to have used a internal procedure and a third party benchmark tool called Procyon.

    But they also used a low-end config : an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM and SSD system drives

    Pretty sure that the impact is nearly non-existant with a recent rig.
