In the DefenderUI Pro version, you get a basic version of VS, even as it makes Windows Defender more potent with the recommended profile configuration.
Kinda happy with my Trend Micro AV with hypersensitive mode enabled and Cyberlock Pro with Whitelistcloud enabled. In Whitelistcloud, just remember to enable all unknown files are not permitted to make inbound/outbound connections. Works just fine on my setup, its fast yet very effective simple setup.
Hey, just thought I should share this tip. Get rid of Catchpulse's cloud AV, the cloud AV is very slow and takes forever. The APEX scanner is okay though. Or you could just have catchpulse installed without any of the scanners. That's even better. If anyone from secure age is reading this, I'd like a feature added that would allow all users, home and corporate, free and paid to submit files to you for analysis. Perhaps free users should be forced to do it manually one at a time.
From what I understand this product is aimed at both consumers and businesses. So, how successful are they?
I don't know, but if even one big corporation is using them for their devices, they're making millions per month. We're talking about thousands of desktops and laptops that all cost hundreds per device to use the corporate version of any security software.
Good job SecureAge! It took several months to get it fixed, but you at least did it faster than Comodo would've done it.
