    I'm certain everyone who uses this program is aware by now that System Informer contains many useful settings some live and other's configs per your own preferences to the needs for your systems.

    But does anyone also make use of it's Notifications Real Time (on your screen) detail Prompts? I use to allow Process Created and Process Terminated settings but find as of it's current latest release, those 2 since they activate before ANY process begins (not terribly) can cause a momentary delay before your executable comes open. I since just removed those checkmarks myself and rely just on the driver/service Notifications instead.

    Don't get me wrong. Process alerts are great! Both ways, but i was curious if anyone else who has tinkered with it at all can tell if System Informer Notifications due to it's very necessary nature of that feature found a micro delay in your executing a process while active.

    for me - disabled because annoying, in special for the defender scan service after update. on a regular used system which is proper served and secure such messages dont have any value, unless user is nosy.

    @Wallaby

    I think this may help. Someone asked me once about this in a PM.

    Part of my PM answer to them, was the following:

    "You will need to go here -[ https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/geolite2-free-geolocation-data] - and download a database supplement, and install through Settings/Options in System Informer."

    "You will need to register for an account, and then you can generate a license key for System Informer."

    I just updated my 'System Informer' a short time ago, as follows:

    Tools tab > Network Tools > GeoLite database update...
