I just renewed and bought a Sandboxie Plus Personal Certificate today. If I get the Sandboxie-Plus Advanced Encryption Pack, does it completely expire after one year or is it like the Personal Certificate where I can continue to use it but not get additional features after one year?

It is like whatever is the base certificate you apply it to, if you apply it to a personal certificate, you can use the last version released within the validity period with all features forever.

Win7SP1x64 v1.14.5 fails to connect to driver.
    Maintenance>Advanced>Start service also fails.
KmdUtil issues an error message in both cases.
Reboot does not help. No crash dumps created.
Back to v1.14.4 which has been rock solid.

I also have the Win 7 Win7SP1x64 v1.14.5 failing to connect to driver with the same error message. I can't even uninstall this new version and go back to old one,
so hoping for a fix. Uninstall fails with the getuser kernal fail. Tks.

I just tried to uninstall 1.14.5 in Win 7 safe mode and it refused, so I did a system restore to yesterday and that failed due to the Kernel32. Got my fingers crossed because I have run out of ideas to try. I will just wait on a fix with my fingers crossed.

Yea will release it but want to wait for more fixes if any,

to fix the win 7 issue
    take the 1.14.4 installer
start it and unpack it as portable
    run the unpacked sandman.exe
use maintenance menu to remove the existing instalation
    reinstall from 1.14.4 installer

A sandbox wont deleted and emptied with Sandboxie Plus v1.14.5 and older versions (getting an error deleting…). But with both Sandboxie Plus and Sandboxie Classic active the sandbox does get deleted and emptied as it should. With only Sandboxie Classic active the sandbox gets deleted and emptied as is should.

Stapp, It does not allow for any version to be installed on top. The driver has locked in place and the only way I can think to
banish it would be to use a backup with Aomei which I pray it doesn't come to. David, do you think your new update will be able
to first eradicate the GetUserDefault Kernel error before a new version is installed? Every Kmdutil.exe I try to run from the command
line just quits with this GetUser error immediately. Tks.

    1. **Download and Extract Sandboxie-Plus:**
    - Download the Sandboxie-Plus 1.14.4. (https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/v1.14.4)
    - Extract the contents to a folder of your choice using portable installation mode.

    2. **Locate Necessary Files:**
    - Navigate to the extracted Sandboxie-Plus folder.

    3. **Copy Files to Installation Folder:**
    - Inside the extracted folder, locate the following:
    - The "32" folder
    - The "SbieDll.dll" file
    - Copy these two items.

    4. **Paste Files into Installation Directory:**
    - Navigate to the installation folder of Sandboxie-Plus (where version 1.14.5 is installed).
    - Paste the "32" folder and the "SbieDll.dll" file into this directory, replacing any existing files if prompted.

    5. **Reinstall Version 1.14.4 or 5.69.4:**
    - Follow the standard installation process for that version.

It's only tuesday, so you are well ahead :thumb:. SbiePlus v1.14.6 is running in portable mode in my Win7SP1x64.

A couple of questions from earlier builds:
Q1: What is the difference between ProcessLimit (from v0.9.7) and ProcessNumberLimit (from 1.14.0)?

    Q2: v1.14.0 changelog says added "/fcp /force_children" command line option to Start.exe
Which of these is the correct command line syntax:
    A: "start.exe /box:MyBox /fcp MyProg.exe"
    B: "start.exe /box:MyBox /force_children MyProg.exe"
    C: "start.exe /box:MyBox /fcp /force_children MyProg.exe"

    A1:
ProcessNumberLimit (in version 1.14.0) is a specific feature tied to Windows' job object functionality. Windows job objects are used to manage and control groups of processes. ProcessNumberLimit allows you to set a maximum number of processes that can be created within a job object.
When the NoAddProcessToJob=y or NoSecurityIsolation=y (Application Compartment) or OpenWinClass=* setting is enabled, it prevents processes from being added to job objects. Since ProcessNumberLimit is a feature of Windows job objects, if processes are not added to a job object, then ProcessNumberLimit cannot be applied.

    A2: A or B

A yes from me. I am finding v1.14.6 (as well as v1.14.4, v1.12.9) pretty stable. Thank you :thumb:

Explorer shell integration stopped working for me even though apparently enabled in settings; I tried disabling and enabling to no avail. In the end I uninstalled, keeping my settings, and reinstalled, and on opening settings shell integration was no longer selected.

Odd but not a show stopper.
