Guys I would need some help.:)
This is really not my area of expertise.
I would need to recommend to a friend of mine who is a former college teacher like me what is specified in the title.

Consider that the free cloud storage space should be at least 5GB.
My friend has an Android smartphone without the Google Play Store.

I have absolutely no idea whether it is better to use an app.

    TH to all.:thumb:

Pcloud might be your best best, if you are intent on the service being free. What are the requirements; multimedia streaming, extra encryption, etc.? Without knowing that, I'd say pcloud is your best reputable bet with 10GB of storage.

Mega offers 20GB and has a lot of the same functionality, minus the robust audio streaming of pcloud. However, files are encrypted better on mega.

I use both and recommend both.

    Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, I don't know the requirements you ask about.

Well, you can't go wrong wit either. If encryption is needed, go with mega.

With the PcCloud app he receives an incompatible browser error.
    Use Opera Android.
Strange is a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome that can not use.

This afternoon he will try Mega (app).

I'm confused. You talk about a browser error, but yet you also mention using the cloud apps. Which one is giving the error?

There are non-compatible browser errors (e.g. at login or at account registration) or errors like this one in the image appear.
    It reads:

"Something wrong happened (not specific) try again":

Whatever that is it has to be system-specific. I use pcloud on my mobile and it works just fine. I suggest turning off any filtering; scanner, DNS, firewall, etc. something is interfering with pcloud.
