    Not seeing this at all, nothing out of the ordinary with YouTube. I use uBlock Origin and Enhancer for YouTube.

    Yes, I've noticed that slowing down as "it takes a few seconds to start playing a video." It could last up to 8 seconds.
    And it, mostly, happens when I use Firefox.
    That drag is less noticeable with Brave.

    google, of course.
    Like eBay, bunches of spoiled children. Glad (Ebay) lost the suit being sued by sending dead animals to defendants house (Ebay).
    google, and more companies no better.

    @ronjor
    This time, however, YouTube seems to have nothing to do with it, Ublock Origins developer Raymond Hill previously discovered based on Firefox's profiler tool.
    In it, performance issues on several sites could be seen.
    Hill states that the delays are especially noticeable on sites that are dynamically updated.

    I watch sometimes live streams on YouTube i.e. webinar etc so this method isn't fit for all content
