    All work perfectly for me.
    As said, I guess it may be one of your non-default filter lists interfering with the PortableApps.com links.

    Found the culprit: Ads > EasyList
    Disabling it solves the issue though I don't want to disable it hmm

    That is odd, as I use EasyList without such an issue.
    Could it be that additionally you need uBlock filters Unbreak? I don't know if that does something to unbreak EasyList issues.

    Easylist is fully used, but no issues in "Portable App Directory".
    but i am not logged in, no reason to use or comment their problematic portables.

    Every link works here as well.
    Btw, look at how many requests are blocked there by uBO. :eek:

    Maybe to high percentage which could result in some blocked links.
    Portableapps links also no issue here. Am using EasyList (Optimized) in uBO.

    IMO p-apps claimed to be free to paid services. i would not be astonished if ubo is blocking a lot of tracking for this and that.

    Most are blocked requests to ezoic.net.
    Code:
    ||ezoic.net/ezqlog?
    (found here in EasyPrivacy (minified) and AdGuard Tracking Protection)

    Nope, I rely heavily on cosmetic filters so it wouldn't make any sense for me to disable them. I think this might be a bug in uBlock when running on Vivaldi (or Chromium). I just did a test with Waterfox, and on Yahoo Finance you will briefly see the advertisement space but it quickly gets hidden by uBlock, this is with the same settings and filters as on Vivaldi. And I also see a setting named ''Hide placeholders of blocked elements'', this is always enabled. However on this link, the blank space is visible on Waterfox as well: https://indebuurt.nl/amsterdam/nieuws/nieuw-in/

    You can toggle cosmetic filtering on or off for a given site.
    If you have it enabled on the website link you provided just right-click
    on the blank space and select uBO block element from list and click
    on create button to add it to uBO My filters. Might have to do it
    twice to remove the blank space. IDK about Vivaldi since I don't use it.

    NOTE: The blank space is visible in Firefox as well. Following the
    above instructions removes the blank space from the webpage.
    I would think Waterfox would give the same result as Firefox.

    In Firefox, I don't see any blank spaces, placeholders of blocked elements, on that indebuurt.nl page.
    I don't know what it is that you see, in Waterfox and Firefox.

    I don't see any either.
    There are some scrips blocked from 'advertising-cdn.dpgmedia.cloud', which is in the list "nl: EasyDutch" (enabled by default for Dutch users).
    Also a cosmetic filter is applied from that list:
    Code:
    indebuurt.nl##.ad

    Blank space is where it says Advertising is loading... translated in English in Firefox.

    Dutch says Advertentie wordt geladen… in screenshot provided using Firefox
    without translating the page.

    Ublock Origin filters used to remove words and blank space:
    indebuurt.nl##.ad--desktop-only.ad
    indebuurt.nl##.show-for-medium.ad--padding-top

    My EasyDutch list is not enabled. If I do enable EasyDutch list in uBO then
    what remains is a narrow blank space on that webpage in Firefox.
    I still had to add this uBO filter to remove the blank space entirely.

    indebuurt.nl##.show-for-medium.ad--padding-top

    Code:
    @-moz-document domain("indebuurt.nl") {
    div[class^="ad"]
    {
        display: none !important
    }
    }

    see
    https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Attribute_selectors
    Code:
    [attr^=value]

    Represents elements with an attribute name of [I]attr[/I] whose value is prefixed (preceded) by [I]value[/I].

    for uBo
    Code:
    indebuurt.nl##div[class^="ad"]:style(display: none !important)
    edit - too long, this works also
    Code:
    indebuurt.nl##div[class^="ad"]

    I can reproduce your issue but not with uBO. It happens for me with Adguard extension because of something in Adguard Base. No issue for me with uBO. So not sure why you're having this issue.
    Anyway, I've reported this to Adguard and they should fix it very soon (probably tomorrow).

    For anyone who can't stand the hardly visible space, adding that removes it indeed.
    Better yet, report such issues at:
    https://github.com/EasyDutch-uBO/EasyDutch/issues.

    Ah, thanks.
    So it was EasyDutch that made the difference.
    And you are right that a small remnant of padding could be filtered. I hadn't noticed as it is such a narrow strip on top of a wider strip part of the page.
