So far haven't seen YouTube ad blocker popup. Using LibreWolf and uBO.
Do have additional filters (My Filters & Custom) for YouTube.

I decided to try the Safari Browser. So far it's good, no notifications.
    macOS Catalina 10.15.7 / Safari 15.6.1 / Ad Guard and 1Blocker (Paid)

Amazing...still no "how dare you use an adblocker" admonishments from YouTube here in the Great White North. I'm not even using NextDNS anymore, just uBlockO with default filters and some other custom filters under "My Filters". But even if I temporarily delete those latter filters, I still get no grief from YT. Running Firefox 118.0.1 under openSUSE.

No problems here (Down Under) yet either, thankfully.

Now on YouTube you get a warning. After watching 3 videos you will be blocked. No "X" in the top right hand corner.

I don't know what YOUTUBE is whining about. It's more like they are deliberately Invading OUR Privacy of OUR OWN MACHINES and unfairly at that. Yes my browser like others HAS Ad Blocking but i always get that YouTube wait that Video will begin after ad OR 5...4...3...2...1 Skips Ads.

    So what's their problem anyway?

Not surprisingly, only that it took longer than I expected, the gig is finally up in my neck of the woods now :(

    EDIT

After purging caches and updating uBO, there are no warnings...yet.

    EDIT 2

well the break from scolding lasted all of three videos

They can go straight to hades where they belong. BTW i also just got the Block Warning but i have enough 'puters i can squeeze out any relevant vids i use to troubleshoot things on this end. How the hell do their evil twisted minds think user's would even consider patronizing sponsors that look for solid customer sales now they are pulling this shenanigan. It's easy enough for me to just DELETE and DISMISS YT and never look back again.

Too bad saying it doesn't make it so. They seem to be trying extremely hard to win something they won't. People will defeat it or go elsewhere. It's not like they are providing premium content. They are providing other people's content while giving a good chunk of them nothing in return.

True @xxJackxx - This is yet another of a pattern of forceful detracting YouTube is engaged in. And your right, this will sour long time YouTube user's especially those of us who turned to it for educational & troubleshooting purposes.

    Brummelchen,

you look to be on to something here :thumb: I used Bleachbit in Linux to delete the following from Firefox:

    bleachbit.png

Also purged caches and updated filters in uBO. After doing so I've watched a half dozen YT videos so far with no pestering. But I am bracing for the inevitable. I'll update later. Thanks!

For the YouTube fix only the "Quick fixes" list needs to be updated (click on the little clock).
(if everyone is updating all their filters multiple times a day, there will be to much load on the servers)

Okay thanks, but I only use uBO built-in and EasyList filters, as well as a number of filters under My Filters.

    ??

Not having any fun, as nothing is broken. Otherwise I appreciate your kind words

for file deletion when firefox is off there is only little risk if you delete the right files, but i do not trust bleachbit nor ccleaner - both screw on the sqlite databases on firefox and destroy its format (vacuum). thats the main reason.

press ctrl+shift+del and the result will be the same, you can achieve this also when firefox is getting closed.

for vacuum i can tell you that firefox need to rebuild its own structure on startup, so you lose performance with this action. its a very hard myth that you will achieve performance due vacuum, in fact you achieve the opposite. also for cache - firefox has a memory for cache and its state, if you kill cache where firefox do not know about you will experience website errors although you might not see it.

the makers of such programs praise something but i would call them ******* and blenders. and you are a victim.

same story over and over again and users wonder why firefox is misbehaving. nevertheless there exist no reason.

for youtube - there is still missing facts to reproduce. either is a local issue eg usa, but not europe, but that cant be because i also read germany questions about. i did not see any adblocker hint, even uBo lite do not show anything. and i miss a-b comporisons from you with a fresh profile, and ublock or abp with default settings. and it seems that none of you have in mind that the used profile could be misconfigured, or damaged.

I had a report from a famility member of this anti adblocker message. Firefox on Windows 10 in Europe. With uBlock origin. After purging and updating filters everything seems to be fine so far.

Thank you @Brummelchen for all the information about Purging and updating filters in uBlock. I shut down Malwarebytes Browser Guard and Ad Guard on Firefox for YouTube. I'm just running uBlock Origin on YouTube for a few days. Purged and updated filters. I haven't seen any blocking in 2 days. :thumb:
I'm wondering if YouTube is reading this thread to update their stupid blocking.
