Hey, you! Focus! Because, we have a review of Firefox Focus, a lightweight, privacy-oriented browser, tested in Android with some side observations in iOS, covering installation, default privacy and security settings, tracker blocking, insufficient ad blocking, performance, usage, and more. Have fun.

Firefox "Foxus" is the international name, for germany its "Firefox KLAR"

ofc "Focus" is reduced in comparison to regular Firefox, but is should possible to use Focus as an adblocker for other apps (only read, not used). anyhow with the rising amount of extensions for regular firefox and the upcoming change to gecko on apple devices Focus/KLAR it could get futile, or stays as a niche browser with adblocker and limited firefox features. i use the nightly since years on android and my collection on android offside the official list and not issues. beta can use extension collections also, and mozilla raised a lot the number of official extensions for the final versions.

nevertheless firefox any build keeps the privacy of users more than any other browser.

I glanced at the article and used search functionality to find "tab". Didn't find it.
The main difference I see is that it does not have a button to show field to type in URL for new tab. So it limits number of tabs, which I like as a person who can open too many tabs. It indeed may help focus for some people.
Another thing is that it clears browsing data after use, which not only prevents other people to see what was visited* but also helps with privacy towards servers (cookies are deleted so site don't have the easiest way to identify user on next visit)

Personally I use it as complementary browser to regular Firefox. On regular browser I might be logged to some site, but at the same time I might want to use that site as not-logged visitor. On desktop I could just open new private window, but on mobile it is easier to have separate app for that.
I also open link from e-mail (especially FairMail), because even legitimate ones redirect me through some tracking servers. I especially don't want to open that link through regular browser when I am logged in Google and other BigTech companies. I don't know any way to open regular Firefox private tab directly from link - I would have to copy URL, open Firefox, open new private tab and paste it here. It is easier to just open chose browser dialog and click on separate app

    * Sharing a phone isn't common, but it happens, or you might want to show somebody screen during surfing. Also some people are infortunate position of threat from intimate partner etc - you never know all situations people might want to clear history regularly
