    That's weird.
Just tried it, but IDCAC isn't even active on that site (no green check mark) and it loads fine here.

When I had IDCAC installed, the site wouldn't refresh automatically or manually, but it might have been a coincidence. I had to delete a bunch of old personal uBO filters that were causing some mysterious breakages.

I added back IDCAC on Firefox ESR alongside uBO, but this time I deleted all cookie-related personal filters from uBO, and it seems to be working fine now.

I just reinstalled I don't care about cookies, not because I was having any trouble with I still don't care about cookies, but it seems to be maintained more than ISDCAC.

I must admit that lately I'm seeing more and more cookie alerts with ISDCAC, not sure what's going on. I would like it if browser had a built-in feature to get rid of this crap. I believe DuckDuckGo and Firefox offer such a feature. I refuse to reinstall IDCAC because I don't trust sneaky Avast.

Do you have EasyList Cookie Notices + uBlock Cookie Notices enabled in uBlock Origin filter lists? That might be helpful, together with ISDCAC. It doesn't take care of each cookie notice, I see one sporadically. I don't know if the combination with IDCAC is better, I don't use it if I don't absolutely need to.

Regarding a browser built-in feature, I don't know about DuckDuckGo or other browsers, but in Firefox, cookie banner blocker is available starting from Firefox version 120. However, it is enabled only for users in Germany browsing in Private Browsing Mode for now.
I guess it may be enabled in about:config, as was mentioned in the Firefox Nightly blog earlier this year. But I think I remember you don't use Firefox, so this won't be any help to you.

I think I have disabled those filters because sometimes websites can't load correctly, and then you need an easy way to disable those lists, this can only be done by a standalone extension like ISDCAC. I also feel like certain websites have implemented non standard cookie alerts.

Yes, I read about Firefox and DDG having such a feature, did you test it? I will request such a feature for Vivaldi.

No, I'm sorry, I don't use DuckDuckGo browser. And in Firefox, I don't use the new cookie banner blocker.
Firefox new cookie banner blocker is enabled only for users in Germany browsing in Private Browsing Mode for now. I haven't tried enabling it in about:config preferences. And I think I read it's still rather limited.

OK I see, perhaps I will check it out in the future. I can't download DDG because the MS Store app is broken on my Win 10 machine, I need to do a complete reinstall to make it work, but I don't feel like it.

The maintainer of ISDCAC has posted a clarification concerning the inactivity on his fork. :thumb:

Why not just use AdGuard Cookies and other related annoyance filters in your adblocker? It can hide cookie notice on this site and others. Also, it's very easy to report them sites where it won't hide these notices so that they can create rules. Till MV3 at least, it's a waste of time and energy to use a separate extension for blocking cookie notices IMO. There are EasyList's filters also, but AdGuard filters are much better.

Rasheed, not to go off-topic too too much but I used the Picker on that pleo site. It made this rule:
    Code:
    www.pleo.io##.hkedxr.sc-goexg4-0
Exited and then came back in again and that little cookie notice was gone. Did it three times and it stayed gone.

"AdGuard – Cookie Notices" has this rule:
    Code:
    pleo.io##div[data-testid="cookie-banner-wrapper"]

To clarify, I know I can use the element picker. But what I meant is that I don't understand why on many sites those cookie messages can't be detected. Apparantly it needs to be on the list, before ISDCAC can block it. I had hoped it would be able to detect it via some type of heuristics.

The reason why I prefer to use a standalone extension is because often websites won't load if cookie lists are active. With uBlock you can't easily fix this, but with ISDCAC you can quickly disable it.

Just to clarify, only if you see the green checkmark on the extension icon, then ISDCAC is active on the page right?

The reason why I ask is because Bloomberg was acting strangely, I kept getting to see the cookie alert on all pages, but it was also automatically clicked away by perhaps uBlock? I never saw this problem on Bloomberg before, so it started after the update of ISDCAC, but I still don't know if it played any role.

ISDCAC is not active on Bloomberg, so something else must be handling it. :)
I didn't see any alert being clicked away here.
Be sure to check in uBO: "Suspend network activity until all filter lists are loaded".
