I purchased a Lenovo All in One with Windows 11. I would like to use Comodo Firewall, but it was in conflict with WF already in Windows 10, so I don't try to install it in 11. I have two problems: 1 I can't use WFC because the Smart App Control block it, and it seems it's impossible to configure the Smart Control to allow WFC. 2: in Comodo and in other firewalls too it's possible to create a general rule - for only outgoing connections - to allow the connections only in port 80 and 53, blockand to all the other, and to have alerts for every connection attempt: it's possible to do it in WF without to create an infinity of rules for all process, application, software ?
have you asked here? https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/windows-firewall-control-wfc-by-binisoft-org.347370/ yes, the windows firewall is per program, port, service or custom. but i wont do this. anyhow outgoing is allowed by default except there exist no other rule to deny it. same for incoming. its handling is ofc not convenient but its working like charm for years. and WFC is not the only firewall with access to the WF settings. for win10 i also use sphinx firewall, my win11 machines have nothing like that. all working with less than 5 additional rules.
