Ok so here’s the deal. I wanna download qbittorrent and I use sandboxie-plus to open files that I think may be malicious but unlike other files I opened with it I had some problemes.

    1. When I wanted to download the file windows told me that there was a virus and I know the majority of the time its like a false alarm or something I don’t know the details but anyway I got beyond that and downloaded it successfully.

    2. When I opened it in sandboxie-plus it gave me this message. I put a picture

    3. When a clic run for a fraction of a second a little black windows opens on the top right of the screen then I get another message asking me if I allow this thing to make changes to my device. I also put a picture
Im sorry if my problem is dumb I don’t normally get these problems and even tho everybody said Qbittorrent is safe and all I really don’t want to get some malware or something on my pc.

Ps: I also put the file through TotalVirus to see if i get something and it told me that there were 2 bad things but like the first problem I just ignored it because I thought that I would use Sandboxie so there was nothing to worry about but now it asks me if it can make some changes so I don’t know. I told myself that its better to be safe than sorry so I wanted to make this post. If someone can help me i would really appreciate it. Sorry again if its a stupid question but i really don't want to * up. https://preview.redd.it/39ejsrbr9ygb1.jpg?width=960&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=4fa433348c203ebe3a372d9d55ac8252ffbb44cf https://preview.redd.it/vogfusbr9ygb1.jpg?width=960&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=904c096e779f6642ca4f5830f42f54320c1bc96e

I don't see any problem or anything suspicious there except that you use reddit.com.
And there is nothing stupid or bad about it either, if a person has a doubt and then asks for advice.
    It's a very normal activity.

Ok so you say I souldn't worry about it asking to make changes to my device? And also the reason it says that its from reddit is bc i made the same post on reddit and someone said i should try here but i didn't want to take other picture so i just copied an pasted them here.

edit: also if i do get a virus sandboxie should normally protect me right? Then i just have to close it like nothing happened and it will like "delete" the virus?

After all, there is a standard question: do you allow this product to write a firewall rule, and how else would you be able to use it if you don't allow it?
It has nothing to do with viruses, and it is unlikely that you will ever encounter a virus anywhere in your entire life, unless of course flu, covid, malaria, etc...
    1. first, you don't get a virus and this sandbox do not protect you
    2. and secondly, this sandbox (or as you said sandboxie) does not protect against anything and never

Yes it's safe to click Yes, it's a Windows Security measure and Sandboxie Start.exe is part of Sandboxie's mechanism.
That kind of pop ups are part of another Windows Security measures. You have to decide whether run it or not. Research for the file in the Internet.

setup was not signed, so no publisher. Defender marks it as bad like many other torrent downloader, and its program may contain suspicious code - also MBAM blocks QTorrent.
qtorrent for sure writes its own required rules into firefox, otherwise it wont work as expected
