I'm curious if anyone has been in contact with him, as he hasn't posted since June 10? Normally he posts every weekend without fail. I sent him a pm a few weeks back but no response yet. Hopefully he's okay and doing well.
I hope that Rasheed is OK! Maybe some holiday, or watching the Tour de France (men and women) or the WC women soccer?
I haven't heard from him either, hopefully he is doing well! Maybe there just hasn't been much to post about since there has not been much security software development lately for the type of products he normally uses. SpyShelter might have something to beta test in a month or two. Maybe he will reappear by then.
Hello @Rasheed187: Your thoughtful observations regarding Windows/macOS security shortcomings are sadly missed. Please come back to us soon.
Well, this is a coincidence, I was planning to start posting again today, and I was surprised to see this topic. To everyone, thanks and no worries, I was very busy with stock trading, just didn't have the energy to comment on WSF. If I'm planning to leave WSF for whatever reason in the future, I will try to keep you guys posted. But I don't see myself leaving, unless I'm sick or dead, just so you guys know.
Thanks guys! But what I do want to ask, I just saw that when looking at recent posts, I can only go back 12 pages, which ends on June 30 2023, is this normal?
At the right hand side at the bottom of the page is there something saying 'next' ? Or at the top alongside the numbers indicating the pages? Then as you see more pages it should say 'find older messages' in the middle just under the last post on the page.
Wow, this is weird, I really don't see anything related to finding older messages. It just stops at page 13, and the next button isn't visible. Perhaps it's about the theme that I'm using or what?
If you leave it in the box and never turn it on it will be secure forever. ...but I guess that's true with anything.
OK cool, and that's the same theme that I'm using. I don't see why it shouldn't go back at least 20 pages. I think it used to be like this, but I might be wrong. They always think I try to bash macOS, but it's just that I'm interested in all types of computer security, whether I actually use those systems or not. Fact is, macOS is just as easily hacked as Windows, although it probably has way less holes. I needed to mention this last part before I run into trouble again.
Same here. If I am critical of something it is to point out the flaws in hopes they will be fixed. Though I don't use some of those things I do have to support them at work so I want them to be better, when possible.
