Sandboxie-Plus 1.9.4, 1.9.5

This build adds a few UI features, and improves on the user experience, further more it fixes a huge amount of issues.

Sbie Plus v1.9.4 (portable) running well so far (on Win7 SP1 64bit)

Now it shows "No Inet (with Exceptions)"

Slimjet and Catsxp browsers do not work with 1.9.4.

I use the predefined template for Slimjet and create a new one for Cats, both just flashes instantly and shuts down instead of starting when trying to. It is the same in Classic for Slimjet.
Run Sandboxed still does not show in context menu without unchecking and rechecking.
Still problem with the former mentioned pdf problem.

Is it intended that SandMan now write-accesses the Sandboxie.ini at every startup and thus changes the timestamp? I also noticed that even after opening the Sandbox Options and cancelling (= no changes), the Sandboxie.ini is accessed in write mode.

I usually use the timestamp of the Sandboxie.ini as a quick check that I have not accidentally changed anything and that I am using the latest version of my personal Sandboxie.ini. I would prefer that the Sandboxie.ini is only rewritten if something has actually been changed.

 

I agree that sandboxie.ini should not have its timestamp changed unless something in it has changed.

Sandman saves now the grouping information in the sandboxie ini as this ensures thay are not lost when its started with a different sandboxie ini for testing.
This infortunetaly changes the timestamp, that sand its the same behavioure as sbiectrl had.
perhaps we can avoid changing the timestamp when the old and new data are the same though.

Earlier today, I got a bsod similar to this link:

I was able to retrieve three dump files (will send a link by email).

 

When you came out with the new feature to add templates for non-predefined browsers manually, all was ok.

 

Please try the updated 1.9.5 build it should resolve the BSOD issue some users reported.

@stapp is vivaldi end edge opening fast again in red and blue boxes?

 

1.9.5 fixed the Run un/sandboxed context menu item.

 

Just woke up to a new sandboxie plus build
@DavidXanatos v1.9.5 fixes the problem for me

 

I removed the path NormalFilePath=msedge.exe,|%UserProfile%\ that Busy suggested when I had the issue of Edge starting really slowly and Edge starts normally (fast) now in Sandboxie 1.9.5, so the issue is fixed. I'm using the Red Box and everything is working good.
